Private Canine Lessons Group Dog Class Residential [we train dog]
Canine Obedience, Dog Agility, Tracking, Protection
Dog Obedience Class - I like my clients to begin with private lessons and to finish with a group. Fee $145.00 includes three private lessons and two group sessions. The first private lesson lasts one hour. The following two privates are forty to fifty minutes. The two groups class last one hour. In the private lessons we work on communicating to the dog from the dogs point of view. Teach the dog how to walk on a loose leash in the direction and speed that the humans chooses. How to come when called. Sit action. When and how to praise your dog. In the group class you will have the opportunity to use your new skills and see them work.

Residential Training Program - I train your dog for you and I Train you for the dog. The dog lives with me in my boarding kennel. Time frame is twelve to sixteen weeks. At the end of the dogs training program I begin working with the person. Minimum of Five private lessons are required. First private is without the dog, second private with the dog, third private dog goes home. Fourth private lesson is two to four days after the dog goes home. The fifth private is scheduled after the dog has been home a week.
Not all dogs take the same amount of work. The basic skills are walking on loose leash, come when called, sit action that requires the dog to hold position until one of two things accrue. When I give the release word or a different command to follow the dog is allowed to move from the sit position. To change the behavior of the over all dog we must have a strong foundation. Before any control work the dog must learn to walk on a loose leash and not jump on people. After this is accomplished it is time to teach the dog how to come when called. While the dog is learning the recall command I begin teaching the dog a sit action. During the training I am reinforcing the fact that I am the leader and life is good when the dog follows my rules.
Basic Residential Fee begins at $1550

Agility Group Class is Tuesday Night
Tuesday night class begins a 5:45 pm and continues until 7:00 to 7:30 pm. We work primarily on Agility with a small amount of obedience. This class is geared to beginning agility to competition agility. It is helpful if the dog has some obedience training but not always necessary. Agility is about team work and communication. It enhances your control and relationship.

This is Alley and Mariann competing at a agility trial. They make a Great Team. I know, you don't see Mariann, I was watching Alley.
