Molly Kuhen has been our breeding director since 2003.  Molly makes all decisions concerning our breeding program.  Which young females to purchase for potential breeding stock, purchasing breeding females and whom to breed them to. 

I am extremely proud of the quality of my pet puppies/young dogs.  Our purchase contract and purchase price is based on the clients goals.  A sales contract for a well breed house pet or competition dog is one price.  If that same dog is sold as potential breeding stock or German Show dog the sales contract and price is different.  All of our dogs and pups are of the finest quality. Molly owns/operates one of the top German Show Kennels in this country.  Molly is brutally honest when she evaluates our potential breeding stock.   

When my pups are whelped [born] I am the first thing my puppies meet.  The mother dog waits for me to get the pup breathing and cleaned up before she meets her new charge.  Once the pups can walk the whole litter sleeps in my bed with me and mom.  If they have to go to the bathroom they get up and tumble down the ramp to the paper in the corner.

My clients are amazed at how easy it is to toilet train my pups.  This is due to the environment in which the pups live.  The puppies are whelped in our boarding kennel.  They never have the opportunity to poop in a house or chew on the cough, drapes etc.  The pups get in the habit of using grass, snow, or concrete for a bathroom. 

The puppies grow up among different sounds and different dogs.  The pups begin interacting with older dogs at about three weeks.  They say that it takes a village to raise a child, I believe that it takes a healthy pack to properly raise puppies.

I work extremely hard to prepare my puppies for life in general and their new homes specifically.

The purchase price or adoption fee includes the following.

 1. The dog or Pup

 2. Parvo/Distemper Vaccination

 3. Worming - three to four worming by eight to ten weeks of age.

 4. Puppies under the age of twelve weeks receive six week group obedience class, Adults get three private lessons and 2 group lessons.

 5. Three month Membership to Dog Training Online.

 6. Pups/Dogs have been vet checked.

To Be Part of the family.

I do not allow my dogs to be tied outdoor on a regular basis. 

The dog must sleep in the house with the family. 

I do not want my dogs to be allowed to run free. Many safety concerns.

I want my people to have some type of fence or enclosure before they take possession of the dog. I prefer DogWatch for the underground. DogWatch equipment is much more reliable than anything on the market.

You must participate in one of my training programs [both come with the dog].  Class on site or online obedience class.

I also require my clients to feed a quality food.  Purina One, Purina Pro Plan, Iams, etc.

Generally I do not sell show contracts or breeding contracts.  I specialize in Family Pets and Competition dogs/ puppies.  [Agility, schutzhund].

Evaluation Example

Last year Molly evaluated one of my pups for breeding.  Temperament was good, basic conformation was good, teeth were proper, ears erect and strong.  All was well except the eye color.  The pups eyes were two shades to light, [i missed this].  Eye color is not real important for a pet/competition dog. For a breeding dog everything is important.  After Molly's visit the pup was no longer considered potential breeding stock because her eyes were two shades lighter than they should have been. 

This is what separates Molly's breeding program from the others, she walks what she talks. The pup was sold to a wonderful pet home.  She is a happy girl.
